Our achievements

Within a changing policy and funding environment, we broker research investment opportunities for sustainable natural resource management (NRM), sustain productive relationships between our partners and offer our profile of successful research and development (R&D) analysis for use by other organisations.

Recent achievements include:

Achieving native vegetation sustainability: a platform for investment

  • analyses priority needs for sustainable native vegetation management in Queensland
  • has led to targeted national investment in further research
  • expert science and policy panels have reviewed existing knowledge and future policy needs for vegetation management
  • has identified critical gaps in our understanding of native vegetation reslience and adaptation within a changing climate

Sustainable NRM in the peri-urban zone of South East Queensland (SEQ): a new and critical need

  • recognises the need to understand what is happening in the transitional zone between urban and rural areas in fast-growing South East Queensland (SEQ)
